Illegal immigrants have been given nearly full citizenship rights - without being Americanized or Naturalized.
Islamic enemy combatants have also been afforded Constitutional rights - even while actively terrorizing the United States.

What's with Dual and Tri citizenship?

Below is the highly ignored "Oath Of Citizenship" from the United States Citizenship And Immigration Service.
The Oath of Citizenship
"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God. In acknowledgement whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature.
In some cases, INS allows the oath to be taken without the clauses:
"...that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform non-combatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by law. . . "
Notice that new immigrants are permitted to be future draft dodgers.

The same federal agency, which seems to act with no consistency or obedience to its own United States Code, requires that those given citizenship rights are of "good moral character." Now listen up all you Islamic enemy combatants and other illegals from south of the border, you must maintain your good moral character in order to be treated as a virtual U.S. citizen.

"4. Good Moral Character:To be eligible for naturalization, you must be a person of good moral character. A person is not considered to be of "good moral character" if they commit certain crimes during the 5 years before they apply for naturalization or if they lie during their naturalization interview.If you commit some specific crimes, you can never become a U.S. citizen and will probably be removed from the country. These crimes are called "bars" to naturalization. Crimes called "aggravated felonies" (if committed on or after November 29, 1990), including: murder, rape, sexual abuse of a child, violent assault, treason, and trafficking in drugs, firearms, or people are some examples of permanent bars to naturalization. In most cases, immigrants who were exempted or discharged from serving in the U.S. Armed Forces because they were immigrants and immigrants who deserted from the U.S. Armed Forces are also permanently barred from U.S. citizenship."

[I also would think that if you are in this country illegally, you are not of Good Moral Character]
