"Handsome" General Wesley Clark Disses McCain's Leisure Combat Missions

Wesley Clark - "I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president."

Even in the Marines, I noticed that the better looking Corporals who had the square chin, bold cheekbones and that All American GQ look seem to get promoted in double time speed to Sergeant. Perhaps former Marine General Anthony Zinni (now a radical lib/internationalist Democrat antiwar politico) was similarly promoted because of the cut of his jib. I mean they have "got the look" of military poster men. IOW they had a physical appearance more impressive than General George S. Patton, but could hardly hold a candle to his military presence and skill.

Along comes John McCain who certainly knew something about leadership in the military having been a son and grandson of naval admirals. He must have picked up something about the military during his youth - at least a bit more than Hillary and Obama - who are Clark's and Zinni's choices to lead U.S. forces in wartime.

According to Handsome Wesley Clark who performed quite below average in directing air attacks against the Serbs in order to defend the Muslim Kosovars which was the twisted strategy of a Monicaized Bill Clinton, John McCain was just riding in an airplane, sort of like ride in Wesley's limo, before he was shot down.

Wesley Clark did not mention in his recent smear of McCain that McCain's ride was cut short by being shot down and then according to the Senator,

"I pulled the ejection handle, and was knocked unconscious by the force of the ejection—the air speed was about 500knots. I didn't realize it at the moment, but I had broken my right leg around the knee, my right arm in three places, and my left arm. I regained consciousness just before I landed by parachute in a lake right in the corner of Hanoi, one they called the Western Lake. My helmet and my oxygen mask had been blown off."
After he regained consciousness, a crowd attacked him, crushed his shoulder with a rifle butt, and bayoneted him;he was then transported to Hanoi's main Hoa Lo Prison nicknamed the "Hanoi Hilton."
In August of 1968, a program of severe torture began on McCain. McCain was subjected to repeated beatings and rope bindings, at the same time as he was suffering from dysentery. After four days, McCain made an anti-American propaganda "confession". He has always felt that his statement was dishonorable, but as he would later write, "I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine." His injuries left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head.He subsequently received two to three beatings per week because of his continued refusal to sign additional statements. Other American POWs were similarly tortured and maltreated in order to extract "confessions" and propaganda statements, with many enduring even worse treatment than McCain."Wikipedia and other sources

Wesley Clark was shot in Vietnam, and was able to recover and continue serving in the military. Clark was also in command of the federal involvement during the Waco, Texas siege. He won that one hands down.

Even if John McCain was not fit to command as Commander In Chief as President of the United States, where in heaven's name would that leave Obama (who never commanded a National Guard like Bill Clinton) or Hillary Clinton who knew only how to command United States Marines to serve horderves at White House functions?

Mad James Hansen And The Enviromentally-Ill

I cannot diagnose James Hansen as being "mad" according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders of the American Psychiatric Association, but he has been one mad dude in his dislike for human beings and their welfare.

Dr. Hansen, chief of NASA's Goddard Institute For Space Studies, may have been traumatized early in life as the son of a bar tender living on a tenant farm. Hansen may still be angry that his boy, John Kerry, did lose a presidential campaign. Possibly, because NASA's space programs have suffered some failures and have become irrelevant, Dr. Hansen wanted to infuse some importance into NASA's and his mission in life. Maybe, he just does not like people as so many in the enviromentally-ill community do. Drill down through the Sierra Club website and notice that the earth is overpopulated and maybe a thinning of the herd would do Mother Earth some good.

At this time, twenty years ago, James Hansen sweatily testified before Congress about the impending doom that would be caused by global warming. This is the first time the buzz phrase was uttered to the public and was the phrase which would motivate a younger (even more naive?), and similarly mad, Al Gore. The sweat on Hansen's brow was staged so that he could earn more sympathy for his mad science.

How mad or angry is Dr. James Hansen? Here is one of his latest manic quotes: "The heads of major fossil-fuel companies who spread disinformation about global warming should be "tried for high crimes against humanity and nature," according to a leading climate scientist."

A long time hater of coal, gas, and fossil fuels Dr. Hansen's computer models for his Master Plan Of Destroying The United States are so ingrained in his balding, egghead noggin that he also believes it is criminal to even argue against his sacred computerized projections. He has advanced Junk Science up to the Dark Ages when the Roman Church did not allow many inventions because innovations - even mousetraps - would steer people away from the profitable status quo.

And have Hansen and his crowd profited. Speaking fees, government and private grants for fellow Warmulists, prestige, publicity, academic posts, and sainthood have been just a few of the perks. The main advantage to all this madness is that they get to play god and alter and even destroy entire cultures.

The Soviet Demokrat Party in the United States is home to these enviromentally-ill who have amassed so much illegitimate power that the Demokrats have responded with, "I have got to have some of that." Nearly half of the American population will be voting for these insane environmental ideas when they go into the voting booth in November 2008. Because they are so easily deluded, the Democrat electorate will be blaming Republicans for the high price of fuel as they believe the sorry excuses of their Dem congress for not drilling, exploring, using coal shale, and nuclear energy to the utmost. If we cannot drill our way out of an oil shortage, then when cannot farm our way out of a food shortage.

The Soviet Demokrats are not the first to horns waggle a country out of prosperity. The original USSR Communists starved millions of people through their errant agricultural programs directed by Lysenko who was as good a mad scientist as Dr. Hansen and had the blessing, like Hansen, of the Russian government. If one would question the Soviet Farm Model they could very quickly be sent off to Siberia.[Hansen and his enviromentally-ill folk would possibly send Climate dissidents to ANWR which is about as pristine as Siberian gulags.]

From a net blogger known as jaimito:

I find that Communism was evil because allowed ideologues and politicians to make economic decisions, such as building factories for products no one wanted, sowing unsuitable seed or ordering excessive plant density. Mao imposed wrong agricultural technologies and caused terrible mass starvation, which now I know, were Lysenko's ideas. Lysenko could not have existed except under communism and that is enough reason for me to reject communism.

Fax Sent To Senator John McCain Three Days Before His "Drill Now" Announcement

The below fax was sent several days ago to John McCain urging him to break out from his energy non-policy. Did the fax make any difference? Did he or his staff read the fax? I believe so, because it was sent directly to his Arlington, Virginia campaign headquarters.

The point is that Congress is not only persuaded by the 35,000 lobbyists who swarm throughout Washington, D.C. with money stuffed in their pockets.

We can also petition Capital Switchboard Toll Free 1-800-828-0498 for such things as demanding Congress to allow drilling up to 200 miles offshore which is currently being requested by "Rep. John Peterson, a Republican from upstate Pennsylvania whose crusade to fix America's broken energy policy has brought him the interplanetary enmity of environmentalists.

Peterson will try again this week [Wednesday, June 18]to lift the congressional moratorium on offshore drilling when the full 66-member House appropriations committee meets. All he needs is a majority of one --and since his similar effort last year lost by only eight votes, he has hope." Pittsburgh Tribune Review.

Please, contact as many of the below Appropriation Committee Demcocrats as possible, asking them to redeem themselves from so very stupid energy policies they have inflicted on the American public in the past thirty years. (You may want to use slightly different language)

Is Cindy McCain Reaping More Obscene Profits From Her Brewski Co. Than Big Oil?

A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is his delight.

I must apologize in advance to all my conservative friends for planning to vote for John McCain, who has preordained himself to lose, for President. Ron Paul,Bob Barr, Alan Keyes, Chuck Baldwin and the rest have, for the most part, real conservative bones, but the Dems and Repubiclicans, as Mark Levin calls them, have virtually shut out third party candidates since Ross Perot gave them a run for their money (which most of them love more than life itself).

Adding to his defeatist platform that will not allow drilling for oil in Alaska because it must be kept in buzzword "pristine preservation," and his inexplicable naivete for believing in the buzzward "global warming" scare, the Maverick is now piling on American oil companies, which are nearly inconsequential on a world scale for buzzward
"obscene profits."

Its too bad John, like his fellow Democrats, are only able to compute using public school fuzzy math. However, since most voters have been trained in public schools which specialize in fuzzy math, why not just throw dishonest statistics out among the masses about "Big Oil," even if it will eventually cause gasoline to be more expensive.

In short, Big Oil is owned by a mainly 100,000,000 investors via union retirement funds, IRAs, Keoughs, and anyone who invests in mutual funds. Big Oil companies own less than five percent of their own stock. Nearly every American, and Democrat, who has some savings in CDs and stocks through mutual funds have some stake in Big Oil. Teachers, self-employed, businessmen, and blue collar simultaneously and inexplicably are asking their Democratic Congress to nationalize Big Oil which will make oil more costly and damage the underlying profits. Rasmussen has a poll out showing that only one half of Americans object to socializing Big Oil. The Barbarians are surely at the gates. BTW Big Oil has made a modest profit of about 8% year-to-year, and that is after paying a 30 billion dollar tax bill in 2007 alone. And the Dems want buzzword"more of those oil company profits?" What will these greedy socialists do with these profits if they got them? They would not be returned to the citizens in the form of gasoline rebates. The Dems want the price of gasoline to be sky high. Can no one figure this out?

We can continue bashing Big American Oil, which only has two of the top twenty oil companies in the world, to our hearts delight and put them out of business but what are we going to do about Big Oil which is subsidized or taxed less in other countries? The answer may be that the Democrats and John McCain will eliminate some of their American competition by driving Big Oil in the U.S. into the ground. Evita Peron and Chavez have done it, why not us? We may invent laws to limit American speculators, but what about those offshore, foreign speculators?

Still another buzzword, "We cannot drill our way out of this oil crisis" is another bunch of hooey that the Democrats and John McCain have taken up reminding us that corn, windmills, and solar should compensate for the loss of energy from oil. Maybe, but not in this lifetime and not in your grandchildrens' lifetime.
The Sierra Club, which according to Bob Brinker "owns the Democrat Party" are scarier than one could imagine. They believe, like many Democrats that, oil and gas should be taxed even more through carbon cap and trade. The Sierra Club is much more sinister than can be imagined because they believe (look at their website) that the world is overcrowded. Think of how America's prosperity and population can be lessened through economic depression - fed by intolerable fuel prices.

Environmentalists have gained so much power in the past thirty years, and that power must be negated. They have become, indeed, enviro-mentally ill. They have prohibited or delayed licenses for exploration and drilling of nat gas, coal shale, coal, nuclear and anything else that God has given us. PS Just because, as the Dems remind us "the oil companies have plenty of leased land to drill on land," does mean that there is oil underneath these leased lands. Just another ridiculous ploy of the Democrats.

If John McCain is going to complain about the 8% "obscene profit" that the Big Oil companies make, maybe he should go after his wife Cindy's Big Beer Business. Cindy may be worth well over $100,000,000 by inheriting her father's business - the Hensley Company which has sales of over $300,000,000 per year and is worth $250,000,000.

Cindy earned over $870,000 in two years, as last reported for 2006-2007, as chairman for Hensley. She made over $6,000,000 from all investments in 2006. I am not sure how close she is to being in the "obscene profit" range of 8% like Big Oil, but with bonuses, stock options and other perks she may be dangerously close to or over that amount where John McCain and the Democrats may have to either confiscate some of Cindy's profits or just nationalize her beer company.

I don't drink beer and I don't condemn those who drink in moderation, but if the choice would have to be made between nationalizing a beverage which helps people to crash their cars, beat their wives, and wear lampshades on their heads, or nationalizing Big Oil, I would recommend nationalizing Big Beer and let the government give away a kegger every Sunday. Throw in some bread and a circus and that is all you would need to get the Democrat vote.

Tim Russert's Testimony Sent Scooter Libby To Jail

May God Bless Tim Russert's family for the orderal they are suffering after Tim's untimely death. Though he was on the Left with the rest of the NBC news department, he would be considered a saint when compared to Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthhews.

I have been wondering for some time if Tim Russert's vague testimony about a conversation he may have had with Scooter Libby had been the lynchpin that effectively lynched Libby. It was.

Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald had cavity-searched everything that walked in order to "get something" on Cheney or his office, and gain more adulation from the lib media, especially the NY Times.
It was well known by the said prosecutor that Richard Armitage had admitted to leaking the name of the non-covert Plame.

Nevertheless, Scooter Libby was found guilty by a jury which had been jury rigged through manipulation and vague testimony, especially Tim Russert's foggy, and sometime contradictory recollection of a conversation with Scooter Libby.

From CBS News http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/02/07/politics/main2443275.shtml:

Tim Russert Contradicts Libby's Testimony

CBS/AP) NBC newsman Tim Russert testified Wednesday he never discussed a CIA operative with vice presidential aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, contradicting Libby's version to a grand jury in the CIA leak investigation.

The testimony came as prosecutors prepared to rest their perjury case against Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff.

The courtroom testimony so far has provided a rare view inside a White House under fire during the lead-up to the war in Iraq, reports CBS News correspondent Gloria Borger. It's not pretty: top advisers squabbling in the West Wing, leaked secrets and faulty memories — all part of a full-blown damage control operation apparently led by the vice president himself.

Russert, the host of "Meet the Press," testified about a July 2003 phone call in which Libby complained about a colleague's coverage. Libby has said that, at the end of the call, Russert brought up war critic Joseph Wilson and mentioned that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA.

"That would be impossible," Russert testified Wednesday. "I didn't know who that person was until several days later."

That discrepancy is at the heart of Libby's perjury and obstruction trial. He is accused of lying to investigators about his conversations with reporters regarding Wilson's wife, CIA operative Valerie Plame.

During Libby's 2004 grand jury testimony, he said Russert told him "all the reporters know" that Wilson's wife worked at the CIA. Libby now acknowledges he had learned about Plame a month earlier from Cheney but says he had forgotten about it and learned it again from Russert as if new.

Libby subsequently repeated the information about Plame to other journalists, always with the caveat that he had heard it from reporters, he has said. Prosecutors say Libby concocted the Russert conversation to shield him from prosecution for revealing information from government sources.

Plame's identity was leaked shortly after her husband began accusing the Bush administration of doctoring prewar intelligence on Iraq. The controversy over the faulty intelligence was a major story in mid-2003.

Given that news climate, defense attorney Theodore Wells was skeptical about Russert's account.

"You have the chief of staff of the vice president of the United States on the telephone, and you don't ask him one question about it?" Wells asked. He followed up moments later with, "As a newsperson who's known for being aggressive and going after the facts, you wouldn't have asked him about the biggest stories in the world that week?"

"What happened is exactly what I told you," Russert replied.

Russert originally told the FBI that he couldn't rule out discussing Wilson with Libby but had no recollection of it, according to an FBI report Wells read in court. Russert said Wednesday he did not believe he said that.

Wells spent a considerable amount of time in cross-examination Wednesday undermining Russert's general recollection of past events, reports CBSNews.com's Jennifer Hoar.

Wells seized upon a 2004 interview that Russert had granted to a Washington Post reporter in which he failed to mention a phone call he had made to a different reporter, from Russert's hometown paper, The Buffalo News. Russert was later lambasted for not remembering the call in an article titled, "Tim, Don't You Remember?"

Russert was also grilled about whether or not he had told the NBC News President Neal Shapiro that he had discussed his 2003 phone call with Libby with an FBI agent. Russert said he didn't recall if he had mentioned that to Shapiro, Hoar reports. Wells appeared troubled by this as Russert indicated that he and Shapiro were close.

Russert will be back on the stand on Thursday; Wells says he has about two more hours with his cross-examination.

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has spent weeks making the case that Libby was preoccupied with discrediting Wilson. Several former White House, CIA and State Department officials testified that Libby discussed Plame with them — all before the Russert conversation.

Fitzgerald has said Russert would be his final witness. Prosecutors spent the past few days playing audiotapes of Libby's grand jury testimony in court. In the final hours of those tapes Wednesday, Libby described a tense mood in the White House as the leak investigation began.

Though President Bush was publicly stating that nobody in the White House was involved in the leak, Libby knew that he himself had spoken to several reporters about Plame. He said he did not bring that up with Bush and was uncertain whether he discussed it with Cheney.

Libby did remember one conversation with Cheney, however, in which the vice president seemed surprised when told by his aide where Libby had learned Plame's identity.

"From me?" Cheney asked, tilting his head, Libby recalled.

Libby said he had forgotten that Cheney was his original source until finding his own handwritten notes on the conversation. The notes predated the Russert phone call by more than a month.

Vice President Cheney is likely to take the stand in Libby's defense, adds Borger. But he may need to answer some questions about himself and whether he directly controlled a White House effort to discredit a political enemy
